The new United Association (UA) National Pharmacy Benefit Program is reducing pharmacy costs for UA members and their families across the United States.
The program offers two PBM (pharmacy benefit management) options to ensure best in class pricing:
- Express Scripts – a traditional PBM model
- Highmark’s Union Blue – a pass-through business model
Both programs include Milliman’s independent third party monitoring. In addition, the UA has partnered with Milliman to perform a comprehensive assessment to evaluate your current PBM program.
