  • ALI Course 7 Graduates 29 - Twenty-nine graduates of MCAA's Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI) Course 7 received their diplomas and congratulations from MCAA Vice President Bob Armistead at a ceremony at the Babson Executive Conference Center in Wellesley, MA last week. The class of current and future industry leaders included mechanical and service contractors, six contractors from Canada and one manufacturer/supplier representative. Armistead commended the graduates on their achievement and urged them to apply their new leadership skills in their business and to continually develop their professional skills by becoming involved in their local association and in MCAA as members of committees and programs. "By using your new leadership skills in service to your local and national association, you help your industry develop, advance and meet new challenges."   • 30 ALI Graduates Encouraged to "Get Involved in MCAA" - Thirty graduates of MCAA's Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI) Course 6 received their diplomas and congratulations from Immediate Past President Stanley Berger at a ceremony at the Babson Executive Conference Center in Wellesley, MA in November, 2006. In addition to commending the graduates on their achievement, he urged them to continue their professional development by becoming involved in their local associations and in MCAA's national committees and programs. "By putting your new leadership skills to work in service to your association, you help your industry develop and advance and meet current and future challenges."
  • ALI Course 5 Graduates 20 - MCAA President Stanley Berger congratulated 20 graduates of the Advanced Leadership Institute's (ALI) Course 5 on November 11, 2005 at a special ceremony at the Babson Executive Conference Center in Wellesley, MA. For the first time, the ALI graduates included two contractors from Canada, Brian Reilly and Rick Walker of Comstock Canada Ltd. (Burlington, ON). ALI graduates now total 131.
  • ALI Graduates 23 in Course 4 - On November 12, 2004, MCAA's fourth Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI) graduated 23 senior industry executives, who will play a significant role in the future of the mechanical contracting industry. In an address to the graduates, MCAA President-elect Stanley Berger urged them to use their new knowledge and networking relationships to not only advance their own companies and careers, but to help improve the industry in which they have been successful. He related how his business and life were dramatically improved in direct proportion to how much he gave and received from working with others in his profession. He concluded by advising the graduates to become involved through their local MCA's in committees, task forces, and eventually in national industry affairs.   • Advanced Leadership Institute Graduates 35 in Course 3 - On November 14, 2003, MCAA President Tom Williams presided over the graduation of 35 participants in the Advanced Leadership Institute's (ALI) Course Three. The proceedings took place at Babson College's Center for Executive Education in Wellesley, MA. President Williams told the graduates that he was very impressed with the final team presentations, briefed them on recent industry news, and invited them to a private ALI graduates reception that will take place at MCAA's 2004 convention at Walt Disney World, FL. He presented each graduate with a diploma and a 24-karat gold ALI lapel pin.
  • ALI Course 2 Scores Another Huge Success! - When the 27 graduates of the Advanced Leadership Institute's (ALI) Course Two received their diplomas from MCAA President Bob FitzGerald on November 15, 2002, MCAA's most ambitious educational initiative ended its first extremely successful year. President FitzGerald told the graduates that he envied their unique professional opportunity, their learning experience in the classroom, and their new friends and relationships that will last for a lifetime.
