July 27 – 30, 2025 | Boston, MA

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the AEC Best Practices Conference, taking place Sunday, July 27 – Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at The Westin Copley Place in Boston, MA.

This premier annual event brings together MCAA’s Association Executive Directors and Senior Staff for three half-days of high-impact education, collaboration, and networking. The AEC Best Practices Conference is designed specifically for our industry’s association leaders, offering practical sessions on non-profit operations, legal and financial topics, member engagement strategies and overall industry teachings.

This year’s agenda includes sessions on:

  • Best practices in member communication, technology use, and program delivery.
  • Generational retention & recruitment strategies with Gen Z.
  • Legal and regulatory challenges facing associations, as well as their contractors, in 2025 and beyond.
  • An MCAA Roadshow, delivering key tools and resources directly to local execs for all of the MCAA membership.
  • A special session on Helmets to Hardhats, supporting veterans entering our workforce.
  • Multiple roundtable discussions, creating space for peer-to-peer learning and sharing highlighting Collective Bargaining, Thinking Outside of the Box in Logistics, National Service & Maintenance Agreements, Schedule A’s and more.

Networking opportunities include a welcome reception, and a 360° city-view dinner at View Boston—a beautiful evening atop the Prudential Tower.

This conference is more than just a meeting—it’s an investment in the strength and success of our associations. All local executives are strongly encouraged to attend. Together, we thrive.
