NCPWB consultant Walter J. Sperko, P.E. discusses the changes in ASME Section IX, 2023 edition of interest to piping fabricators and contractors. These changes, which can be found in the “Summary of Changes” in the front matter of Section IX, become mandatory for new qualifications beginning on January 1, 2024.
