MSCA 2022 Benchmark Survey

In 2022, MSCA conducted a comprehensive benchmark survey to obtain current data on key performance indicators (KPIs) in the HVACR and plumbing service industry. MCAA Model COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy

The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) has issued an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) on COVID-19. This Model COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy addresses the ETS, which was issued on November 5, 2021. The standard applies to all mechanical construction, service, and fabrication shop employers. The standard has been temporarily stayed by the Fifth Circuit. However, the stay could be temporarily lifted. This Model COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy is available to you in case the stay is temporarily lifted, and OSHA decides to initiative enforcement.

Model Electrical Safety in the Workplace Program (Based on parts of NFPA 70E – 2021)

NFPA 70E – 2021 states that each employer shall implement and document an overall electrical safety program that directs activity appropriate to the risk associated with electrical hazards. This model program, which is based largely on information from NFPA 70E – 2021 articles 110 – General Requirements for Electrical Safety-Related Work Practices, 120 – Establishing an Electrically Safe Work Condition, and 130 – Work Involving Electrical Hazards, will help you develop an electrical safety program that is specific to your company’s needs.

NFPA70E – 2021 Safety Bulletin

The current version of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)’s Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace is NFPA 70E – 2021. This bulletin addresses work on HVAC equipment pushing 480 volts or less, comparing the 2018 and 2021 versions of the NFPA70E.
