Site Safety Supervisor

Currently, Goyette Mechanical Company has an immediate opening for a Site Safety Supervisor in our Construction Department at worksites in the greater Columbus and Dayton OH area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reinforce that team members on the project site are in compliance with the safety requirements of the company.
Ensure that appropriate safety records are maintained.
Responsible for investigating and completing incident investigations to determine the root cause and corrective actions necessary.
Responsible for timely reporting and tracking of all team member worksite injuries.
Ensure project safety pre-planning, subcontractor pre-qualification, and pre-construction meetings are completed as required.
Responsible for conducting job site-specific training.
Other duties and tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

Must have OSHA 30 and 510.
Have basic knowledge of equipment (Telehandlers, Forklifts, etc.) for inspection purposes.
Strong verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and comfortably with customers and employees over the phone and in person.
Strong organizational skills are required.
Previous experience with a construction or service company.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work based on deadlines; excellent time management skills are necessary to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy highly critical in this role.
Must be able to foster and support a team work environment, placing a high emphasis on excellent customer service.
