    Management Methods Manual Adds Estate Tax Planning and Succession Bulletin

    The MCAA Management Methods Committee has just released a new bulletin covering Estate Tax Planning and Succession. This latest addition to MCAA’s Management Methods Manual provides an overview of the myriad issues involved in successfully transitioning a business from one generation to the next. In clear, concise language, it explains various estate tax planning options and the repercussions each can have upon a company’s succession plans. The committee also released an update to the bulletin on Labor Relations, expanding it to keep pace with MCAA’s offerings.     Does Your Electrical Safety Program Reflect NFPA 70E – 2012?

    MCAA and MSCA members can access a free, revised Model NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Program for Service which is in line with recent revisions to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)’s Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. The revisions are based on changes made in NFPA 70E – 2012, the current version of the standard. The model program is for companies performing HVAC work on equipment pushing 480 volts or less.
