Registration Information

• YOUTH AND FAMILY MEMBER REGISTRATION - To meet the needs of the many attendees bringing families to MCAA 2012, we are offering special registration fees for family members of different ages. If you plan to bring children ages three (3) or older to any of MCAA’s evening activities, they will need a badge. Registered children ages seven (7) years to 17 will be able to attend one Disney educational session (sign up required) as a part of their registration fee. These programs will include Animation Magic, Mouse Quest at the Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Special Effects.
The registration fee for spouses, guests, and family members who are 18 years of age or older includes all convention activities.
• MCAA ATTENDEE REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY - If you must cancel your participation in the convention, please send written notification via e-mail to eventregistration@mcaa.org or by mail to MCAA Convention Department at MCAA as soon as possible. Refund amounts will be processed as follows:
  • A full refund if you cancel your participation before February 18, 2012
  • 75 percent of your registration fee if you cancel before March 5, 2012
  • No refund for cancellations after March 6, 2012

Hotel Information

MCAA’s online registration system provides real-time registration and hotel room availability. You will receive immediate confirmation by e-mail of your convention registration. Please note that the MCAA online registration system does not immediately confirm your hotel reservation. Hotel reservations are made by MCAA but confirmed at a later date by the hotel.

• REGISTRATIONS AND HOTEL REQUESTS WILL BE PROCESSED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY THE REGISTRATION FEES.
• SUITES There are a limited number of suites available. Please contact MCAA at (301) 869-5800, or by e-mail at eventregistration@mcaa.org, for information and availability.

Take advantage of all that Walt Disney World® Resort offers by registering early. Once MCAA has processed your registration, we will forward your accommodation request to the hotel.

Walt Disney World® Resort hotels book quickly. To get the rooms of your choice, we encourage you to make your plans early.

You will receive a confirmation directly from the Walt Disney World® reservation department.

Rooms at the Walt Disney World® Resorts are at a premium. Room reservations received after February 21, 2012 will only be available on a space available basis.

Guestrooms at all three MCAA convention hotels feature two queen beds.

If you prefer a room with a king bed, we suggest you select a villa or a suite. Room descriptions and diagrams are available on MCAA’s website at www.mcaa.org/MCAA2012.

A deposit in the amount of three nights’ stay is necessary to reserve your accommodation request.

Room reservations will not be accepted by the hotel without a guarantee by credit card or check payable to your preferred hotel.

Credit cards will be charged the three night deposit at the time the reservation is processed by the hotel.

Cancellations after February 21, 2012 may result in forfeiture of deposit. Rates are subject to local sales and occupancy taxes equaling 12.5%.
