This program focuses on cutting-edge fabrication applications and tours of MCAA member fabrication facilities. The 2013 seminar will include three facility tours: S. A. Comunale (Barberton, OH), a large national company proving full mechanical services and fire protection, Neptune Plumbing & Heating (Cleveland, OH), a small company providing plumbing fabrication for local contractors and innovative plumbing services and Smith & Oby (Walton Hills, OH), a 114 year-old “typical” mechanical contractor that is expanding the fabrication capabilities of its 45,000 square foot facility. MCAA’s pre-fabrication consultant George Stuller will introduce the first chapters of MCAA’s soon to be released Pre-Fab Operations Guide for Plumbing. Ron King will discuss how you can calculate your shop versus field estimate using the new Work Activity Method addition to the WebLEM®. The seminar is limited to 100 participants with a maximum of two people per company or branch office.
