The green wave is coming...is your company ready? MCAA first green conference will explore developing markets in green and sustainable construction. Mechanical construction, plumbing, and service contractors will learn to identify and profit from new market opportunities. During the three-day program, participants will address the following: Where do I fit into the green market? (new construction, existing buildings, core and shell, residential)? How do I acquire a green perspective? What resources do I need to get into the green game? What are my rewards for being green? A case study will depict how an integrated design, along with an aggressive blend of design-build and performance contracting, was used to develop the worlds greenest building the Alberici Headquarters in St. Louis. The conference will include a showcase of water conservation and sustainability products and a tour of a gold LEED corporate headquarters. |
